Tradeport: reading NFT listings before your first buy

TradePort is an NFT marketplace and aggregator. For a first Sui purchase, identify the selected NFT and its sale status, then compare its asking price with the collection floor. Collection statistics add context to the individual offer.

Updated
Collection floor
The lowest listed asking price for the collection, used as a benchmark for individual offers.
Item asking price
The seller’s requested price for the specific NFT offered for sale.
Top bid
The highest displayed buy offer within its item or collection scope, separate from a seller’s asking price.

Identify the item and its sale status

Use the collection and NFT name or ID together, and keep the selected network in view. Names, media and attributes describe an item; an active sale listing offers it for sale. An NFT visible in a collection is not necessarily listed for sale.

The Rip Station Pokemon Packs collection view separates Listed and Unlisted filters from Unopened and Revealed filters. Sale status and reveal status answer different questions: whether an item is offered for sale and whether its contents have been revealed. Keep those distinctions in view when comparing pack items.

Compare asking prices with market activity

Compare amounts within the same collection and payment token. An asking price above the floor describes a gap between offers; it does not establish what the selected NFT will sell for. Attributes and item state can differ, so read what each listing actually offers before treating two prices as comparable.

TradePort’s historical floors and trading activity provide different information. A recorded sale describes a past trade, while floor history tracks the asking-price benchmark. Keep the selected period attached to volume and sales counts. Activity can include events other than sales, so check the event type before interpreting it as a completed trade.

Hypothetical check: An unlisted NFT returns to sale

Pause the purchase review while the chosen NFT is unlisted. All item states, prices and changes in this example are hypothetical: a Sui collection has a floor of 9.6 SUI, but the selected NFT has no active sale listing. The collection floor supplies no offer for that item.

Before retrying the purchase review, recheck the same NFT’s listing status and current asking price. Assume a later check shows the item as Listed with an asking price of 11.2 SUI and the collection floor unchanged at 9.6 SUI. The Listed status and item-specific ask provide the evidence needed to resume the price comparison.

Asking-price gap: 11.2 - 9.6 = 1.6 SUI above the collection floor. This calculation compares asking prices only and leaves any purchase-specific charges out.

Read the purchase terms before wallet approval

For Sui NFTs using native kiosks, the NFT type’s TransferPolicy defines transfer conditions. A creator who wants to enforce royalties must implement a royalty_rule . Royalty terms therefore depend on the applicable collection policy; a collection floor alone does not establish the selected purchase’s royalty terms.

TradePort’s Sui trading tools prepare a transaction for a Sui wallet to sign. Review the selected NFT, payment amount and any applicable charges before approving a purchase. A listing or prepared transaction does not prove a completed purchase.
